Equi-Angels is dedicated to providing effective mental health, substance abuse, personal growth and educational services for children, adolescents, adults, couples, families, camps and corporate groups.
Our Mission:
Equi-Angels promotes balance and enhances the mental health and life skills of participants through therapeutic interaction with the horses. We work on healing and integration of mind, body and spirit.
Equi-Angels partners with Rockin Horse Farm/Horse Connections, a non profit horse facility owned and operated by Amy Baird. For additional information, please visit www.horseconnection.org or www.rockinhorsefarm.org. They are located on 17 beautiful acres in New Port Richey, FL. We also offer a facility in Citrus County. We offer the 2 locations and a mobile program to better serve the needs of our communities.

We are not a therapeutic riding program; our activities are on the ground and do not require knowledge of horses. A typical session consists of experiential, hands on activities and processing.
Specialty Programs
HEALING WITH HORSES
This bereavement program assists participants in dealing with issues of grief associated with a significant loss of a loved one. Program is available for children, adolescents, adults, couples and families.
JUST SAY WHOA
This program assists truant youth and juvenile offenders in confronting the complexities of their lives through a deep and powerful connection with horses. Program enhances individual empowerment, communication, problem solving and increases self esteem.
LEAP
This program assists survivors of domestic violence in gaining direction and empowerment. It aids in healing the spirit and recovery. Program assists with choosing a healing path and living with healthy boundaries. It is available to children, adolescents and families.

We are expanding our services and have relocated to our forever home: Our Serenity Cottage located in New Port Richey. This location is a remodeled home and is private, has plenty of parking, right off of US 19. There is a bus stop close by and it is handicap accessible.
As part of our expansion of services to you; there are now four therapists working together to assist you in reaching your goals.
Additional services include: Equine Assisted Psychotherapy, Horses Helping People Learning Program and GLBT Services.
